Living in the current hell that is Phoenix, AZ, I don't know why this prompt made me think of this book on my #TBR. 🤷♀️
Ice cream and hugs are nice.
I especially ❤️ the way this book includes helpful ways to improve climate change. We need to give our kids hope. #underthedustcover Happy belated 🌎 day!
This is a fine novel and a quick read. King is a stalwart of a group of writers who are bringing the indigenous way of seeing the world into focus. He definitely knows how to tell a good story, yet he is old school when compared to the rawer styles of writers like Robinson, Dimaline, or Vermette.
