The Wild Dead | Carrie Vaughn

Pickpick

Loved it just as much as the first one. I love Enid, and I love the beautifully drawn, quasi-utopian post-apocalyptic world she lives in. I figured out the broad strokes of the mystery by about halfway through the book, but I didn‘t connect all the dots until Enid did, which was immensely satisfying. Can‘t wait for more books in this series!

Our power is out, but at least reading doesn't require any electricity.

BarbaraTheBibliophage Our power went out the other night. I was using my book light as a “candle.” 6y

BarbaraTheBibliophage Intriguing options! Are they fiction or nonfiction? Also tagging our third co-host, @Cinfhen. 6y
bookcollecter Ecotopia & Future Primitive are fiction. They speculate on Utopias that can solve the world's ecological crisis. The Eco-Criticusm reader is a collection of Academic Theory on Eco-Literature. This was my focus in grad school. 6y
bookcollecter I apologise once again forgetting to tag @Cinfen I will go back and correct this in my other #Booked2019 posts 6y
