I read a good many new releases in 2016, but I didn't have any I considered #bestdebutsof2016, as the authors were mostly already established. So here's one of my favorite 2016 releases instead. #FeistyFeb

Im behind on photo challenges by a couple days so I'm going to catch up this morning. I don't know if they're the #bestdebutsof2016, because I haven't read them yet but they're 2 that I have close to hand. #feistyfeb

#feistyfeb #bestdebutsof2016 I didn't actually read too many debuts in 2016, but this one was pretty great. All about the Californian ship which saw the Titanic's distress signals and didn't come to her aid. #historicalfiction

RealLifeReading Sounds interesting! I've not heard of this book before! 8y
KerriNTurner @RealLifeReading it's a very interesting, unsettling read, and the author clearly did his research. 8y

#feistyfeb Day 5: #bestdebutsof2016 I think the 2016 debuts are honestly the reason I got back into reading with such a bang! I signed up for BOTM just to get this book. I'm still in the middle of it (with many more 2016 debuts on my TBR) but I'm still sure this will be my favorite of them all. @RealLifeReading

#feistyfeb Day 5 #bestdebutsof2016. I didn't actually read any 2016 debuts last year, but Homegoing got raves from everyone, and I'm currently on the waiting list at the library for it. Does that count?

awishman It counts and it's worth it. A great book! 8y

I'm always woefully behind on new releases, so I had a hard time coming up with a pick for #bestdebutsof2016. I'm going with Hidden Figures because I have the audiobook cued up to start on my commute tomorrow. New job, new book! 😊#feistyfeb

Technically, Tell Me Three Things isn't a debut, but it is Buxbaum's first YA novel, and it was one of my favorite reads of the year, so it counts, right? The other two titles are on my #TBR shelf.

This is solidly one of the #bestdebutsof2016 for me. I'm still thinking about this book.

#feistyfeb @RealLifeReading

vivastory It was so ambitious for a debut. It's stunning how well she pulled it off. 8y
readordierachel @vivastory Agree completely. I can't wait to see what she follows it up with. 8y
