pickThis was a great book about an aviator from WWII going back and visiting with the families who saved his life when his plane crashed. It was wonderful to have the history as well as the present time frame of the 80‘s. I enjoyed not only his personal perspective but those of the families who saved him and his friends. Only downside was an abrupt ending. But still an amazing WWII book!

bookandbedandtea This sounds amazing. My Grampa was also a pilot in WWII who had to crash land and in his senior years he went back to that town and connected with a few people who helped him. I feel like I NEED to read this. #stacked 7y
