Sometimes, books that I buy and books that I‘m given sit on my shelf for years, even though I really want to read them. Meanwhile, I read hundreds of books borrowed from the public library. 1. Folding the edge of the page if I don't have a bookmark
2. Folding the book itself when I'm reading thus creasing the side!

I judge books by their covers. A LOT! But mostly in the way that I buy a pretty book without really knowing anything about it 😄

Confession: I once threw a book in the garbage (instead of donating it) because I hated it so much and didn‘t want anybody else to have to read it 😳. I also sold back a signed copy of a book by a former poet laureate LIKE AN IDIOT (and got nothing for it since the book was not being re-used). Both of these were in college.
