I find it absolutely fascinating that there are millions of little microbes living inside of us, that have such an impact on our wellbeing.

At the end of the book I realised that this information is almost a decade old, so I'm interested to see how things have changed since then.

If anyone has any suggestions on a more recent book, I'll appreciate suggestions.

This book suffers from a lack of originality. The science fails to offer new insights and the writing is jagged. Don't look here for recipes or helpful references. Save your energy and read The Good Gut and Brain Maker. 🍽

This was an interesting book that looks at the way your mind communicates with your body, specifically your gut. The author looks at the link between your diet and various psychological issues (anxiety, depression, etc) and the reverse -stress and its affect on your gut/intestinal system.

Definitely some intersting information, especially if you haven't studied nutrition/anatomy/human biology.

It was a busy 50 hour week at work with little time for reading. Hopefully, this book will be a breeze to read!
