#Movember Day 20: I bought #Revolver along with a whole box of bookses during the Page One Warehouse sale in Singapore back in 2012. Along with the other book photographed here, I haven‘t read it yet. Here is the rest of my book loot - most of which I haven‘t had a chance to read yet. Ah. Such is the story of our lives. This was a fast YA read. Sig has to figure out how to survive in the 1910 wilderness of Alaska. When his father ends up dead and a stranger shows up-will Sig do what needs to be done!? Thanks @TracyReadsBooks for the recommendation!!

This made me stop and think. It‘s totally referencing early 1900‘s in the Alaskan wilderness, but it still seems applicable today.

Ok, this one I really liked. After the sudden & unexpected death of his father, Sig Andersson finds himself facing an even bigger problem when a bear of a man shows up at their isolated cabin in the Arctic wilderness demanding what he‘s owed. Loads of tension/suspense, a sense of place so well established you can feel the cold & a young boy trying to stay true to the wisdom of his mom & teaching of his dad. Definitely recommended. Very good read.

I typically don‘t like Sedwick‘s books as much as the critics do—he‘s won a lot of awards—but I work in a library, I finished my book & needed something to read and this one was literally within reach. So here goes...
