This is a fun romp! I would recommend it to any kid that enjoyed Percy Jackson or Harry Potter that is looking for more magic and adventure. Good writing, lots of action and creepy at times - the lady eating lightbulbs is on par with the Other Mother for creepiness

I felt like a kid under the covers again while reading the YA Arc I received from work. Rudden reminded me of my childhood fear of the dark. Deliciously so. Age old thrill of being caught up in the child protagonist facing nightmares and winning. Couldn't wait to finish - late night last night.
