The Rainbow Connection by Kermit/The Muppets

Bookish rainbow featuring diverse reads.

These are diverse by genre but that‘s about it. Because of how I pick the books I want to read I don‘t have very diverse shelves it turns out. That being said I don‘t turn books away because of there diversity but because I‘m not interested in the story they tell.

BacklistReader Reading diversely is not about choosing a book just because it is diverse. You should also be interested in the story that book is sharing. 5y
BacklistReader I felt I had to defend myself so there was a lot to say. 🤷‍♀️ 5y
AllisonM89 I used to have that exact copy of King Arthur when I was a kid! Sadly, it's long gone. 5y
BacklistReader @AllisonM89 I have the Robin Hood one too. I sadly haven‘t read either of the yet though. 5y

I spent the whole day yesterday playing Minecraft with my partner and forgot to post my #unreadandontheshelf 🙈.

Other than Girl On The Train this entire stack is historical fiction. One of my favorite genres although I haven‘t read much of it so far this year. I think the two I‘m most looking forward to are The Concubine‘s Daughter (tagged) and the Queen‘s Vow.

See any you would recommend or would like to hear about soon?
