✔️ extremely sucky cat cuddles
✔️ pad Thai take out
✔️ multiple books on the go (rereading LeGuin's "Vaster Than Empires and More Slow" first from the tagged collection, then on to A Fine and Private Place)

This is a collection of Le Guin's short stories spanning from 1962 to 1974. Wow, can she craft a story. I loved this collection, with Le Guin's subtle sense of humor, big heart and strong sense of justice, subversive themes, diverse worlds and characters, and smart sci-fi. I even enjoyed the stories that leaned more fantasy (not usually my jam). Even the commentary she provides before each story was a delight to read. Highly recommend!

And it‘s Ursula K. Le Guin for the win again! The tagged book by my fave author is a collection of short fiction. It contains several of her most famous tales including the super short “Those Who Walk Away from Omelas”, which packs a wallop. You can read it here: https://www.utilitarianism.com/nu/omelas.pdf
