20/100 I always enjoy another adventure in the world of the xenomorphs, but this one seemed kind of pointless. Picking up after the Aliens 3 movie, Bishop's creator salvaged his body from the prison planet to gain access to the valuable information in his head about the xenomorphs. The Chinese, the Colonial Marines and the Weyland-Yutani corporation are also chasing the same data. Of course a bunch of aliens get loose and theres plenty ⬇️
RamsFan1963 of fighting with the Colonial Marines and the Chinese soldiers. I liked the rotating POVs of all the different factions, but too many characters were confusing when the fighting got hectic. I don't know how much his adds to the Aliens lore overall, but it kept my attention. 3 ⭐⭐⭐ 2d
MemoirsForMe Was Lance Henriksen one of the narrators? That would be so cool! I‘m a huge fan of the Alien movies but never found a decent novel. 1d
RamsFan1963 @MemoirsForMe Sadly, no Lance Henriksen. If you want a good Aliens book, there is an anthology called Aliens: Bug Hunt this I thought was pretty entertaining. If you ever wondered what happened to the slime bag Burke after Aliens, you'll want to read this. 14h
MemoirsForMe Oh yes, I‘d love to see the tables turn on that snake Burke. Thanks for the rec! 10h
