Going into this book i had high expectations but this author's newer books are way better written. I was so disappointed that this book wasn't better

The life of a typical teenage girl, that happens to also be Asian American. Has arguments with her mother, as she experiences new things and tries new things.

I liked the book.. but it seemed unfinished. Like it needed a chapter or two more.. or maybe it needed another book.. I don't know..
I am about to start another book of hers I hope I am not so-so with this next one

Currently reading this book. This is the author's first book, and I bought another of hers. Bouncing back and fourth between this and #Sadie
Interesting so far, a nice light read. With a good flow.

My recent book order from bookoutlet! I have a couple others but they're for an exchange. Now I have 3/9 of the hardbacks of the night world series. So pretty, must resist rereading them 🤣

I read this book in about 24 hours, and it was such a fun, fast read. I don't have a lot of first generation Korean-American stories on my shelves, and I loved the perspective on high school. It was both a different experience from mine and similar at the same time. So cute, so good. Also, hi David, you belong with Holly. 😍
