This is the strongest book in the series so far, if you ask me. Hughes asks us important questions, but doesn't have an answer for us. We, just as the characters, have to find our own solutions. How much sympathy are we allowed to have with the culprit? What if the victim as an unlikable person?
The book is a fast read, and can also be read as a standalone.
