No Grain, No Pain
No Grain, No Pain: A 30-Day Diet for Eliminating the Root Cause of Chronic Pain | Peter Osborne
1 post | 1 read | 2 to read
In the tradition of Wheat Belly and Grain Brain; No Grain, No Pain demonstrates the proven link between a gluten-heavy diet and chronic pain and discomfortand offers a groundbreaking, 30-day, grain-free diet plan to help you heal yourself from the inside out.More than 100 million Americans suffer from chronic pain according to an Institute of Medicine report released in 2011. For many, chronic pain is part of an autoimmune disease, but all too often doctors turn to the same solution: painkilling drugs. But all of this medication simply isnt helping, and as Dr. Peter Osborne, the leading authority on gluten sensitivity and food allergies has found, the real solution often lies in what you eat. In No Grain, No Pain, Dr. Osborne shows how grains wreak havoc on the body by causing tissue inflammation, creating vitamin and/or mineral deficiencies, and triggering an autoimmune response that causes the body to attack itself. But he also offers practical steps to find relief. Using his drug-free, easy-to-implement plan, you will be able to eliminate all sources of gluten and gluten-like substances, experience significant improvement in fifteen days, and eliminate pain within thirty days. No Grain, No Pain is the first book to identify dietspecifically, grainas a leading cause of chronic suffering, and provides you with the knowledge you need to improve your health. Based on extensive research and examples culled from thousands of his satisfied patients, Dr. Osborne recommends changing your diet to achieve the relief that millions of Americans have been seeking once and for all, leading to a healthier, happier life.

I was just thinking about how much my reading has changed since joining @Litsy - it's been amazing. Last year I was reading mostly from three genres, and only about four books each month. Now, my bookshelves are busting out with all kinds of wonderful genres including politics, feminism, history, and so much more! Plus, I'm averaging 10 books each month. Thanks for all the badass inspiration and temptation, Littens! #TBT #badassbibliophage

Notafraidofwords I feel the same way. I'm reading more versatile now than ever. 8y
mcipher I agree - I've read 24 books already this year, and I thought my goal of 100 was ambitious! Plus I've got so many ideas for things I would never have read before, and oddly enough I'm thinking more about LGBTQ, people if other ethnicities, just generally a sense of bugger issues in the world, thanks to Litsy. 😍 8y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @Notafraidofwords Yay us! 👏🏻👏🏻 8y

BarbaraTheBibliophage @mcipher I agree 💯❗️I think the increased diversity in themes and characters has been fantastic for me. 8y
Hestapleton I've seen some really similar changes! I'm reading so much more (sorry grad school), reading more diversely and in different genres, and generally caring for myself more than I did before. Litsy is the best social media out there. 8y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @Hehaney Pretty awesome, isn't it?! 👏🏻👏🏻 8y
TheWordJar Same here! I've almost read more books than last year already, and I'm reading much more diversely and purposefully. There are so many great recommendations and recommenders on Litsy! ❤️❤️❤️ 8y
minkyb Totally agree. I had stopped buying books basically using the library. Trying to downsize, yada. yada. yada. Now I buy books from far flung places like book depository and folio society and listen to bookish podcasts! lol. Couldn't be happier. 8y
Lizpixie Same here as well! This time last year, my shelves were 2/3 crime & 1/3 fantasy/scifi, now I have a lot more scifi & fantasy, plus shelves of graphic novels, litfic, YA, more memoirs & autobiographies and even some romance and (gasp) a western or two. Plus all the new "cozy crime" series I'm now addicted too. And I'm now back to my best reading years, averaging between 20-25 books a month. I love all you guys! 8y
Cinfhen You are a bad ass and so is your Bitmoji 💚❤️💚 8y
