I like how this book is laid out. It‘s divided in sections based on travel wants, such as wildlife photographers, hobby historians, or party animal. I started flagging the places I‘ve been & the places I want to go. It did not help narrow my travel bucket list. 😆

Each destination has a brief synopsis, a recommended time to visit, & a lovely photo or two.

deirdrebeecher @tpixie If you are going to Lisbon, The Gulbenkian and the Tile Museum are amazing, Drag Brunch is a ton of fun, the day trip to Sintra, where I did the hop-on, hop off tour was also great.

tpixie @deirdrebeecher thanks for the tips!! My husband loves hop on hop off buses! That‘s good to know about the Tile museum. I want to go there. Rick Steves only gave it one star - and to me it sounded like a 3 star must see place!! 3mo
deirdrebeecher @tpixie I liked it because it is such a part of Portuguese culture and architecture. 3mo
wanderinglynn @tpixie yes! Madeira (www.visitmadeira.pt/en-gb) is listed for hikers; Algarve (www.visitportugal.com/en) for sun worshippers; & Lisbon (www.visitlisboa.com/en) for art lovers 3mo
tpixie @deirdrebeecher yes! A very important part of their history!! 💙🩵🤍 #tiles 3mo
