Why was a belemnite stone, also called the devil's finger, found in the deceased's pocket? What secret is encoded in several pages of a manuscript found in a drawer? Suspicions grow stronger: a yellow folder that unexpectedly reached Tom's colleagues through an agent working in Moscow mentions the sending of a Russian agent to Nizhnedvinsk to carry out the "Devil's Finger" operation.
