Pick! I read this super fast because it was fun. A morally gray MC with a complicated past, secrecy and distrust, a supernatural component. A serial killer years ago and a potential copycat now, with possible ties to the story‘s MC. The supernatural aspect is related to the forest and I loved all of the trees and nature bits. Requires suspension of disbelief in several different areas, which is spoilery so 🤐. A solid beginning for a series.

Wow. A thriller that combines genres: crime, thriller, psychological intrigue, and the supernatural. I found the story engrossing. The self doubt of the character, the doubt you feel about others…there is no doubt that Solvinic is a talent.

Deliciously creepy! Anna is a detective, and murders start popping up in her jurisdiction that are eerily similar to those of a past serial killer, the Forest Strangler. What those around Anna don‘t know is that the Forest Strangler was her father. And she‘s missing time… A coincidence in the ending made me roll my eyes, but overall this was a solid mystery.

A page turning psychological mystery. A sheriff's lieutenant tries to hide her past as the daughter of a known serial murderer. When a copycat killer begins to emerge using her late father's M. O., she will risk her life and her sanity to uncover the truth in this upcoming debut.
