Rodeo champion Zach "Lightning" Lucas grumpily agrees to a Christmas Eve deal: put on a Santa suit and deliver gifts to a widowed mother. I initially only read this book to break up some of the heavy thriller and dark romance books I‘ve been reading. This story is short, but I actually enjoyed it. I appreciated the time the author took to develop some background between the characters. I typically do not enjoy these short stories as they are predictable, however I enjoyed this short read.
