This was a lovely introduction to the LGBTQIA+ community for both parents and children. It did a great job of being inclusive and the illustrations included a lot of diversity.

It did a really good job of including different families including step parents and found family. However, there was a lot of information thrown at you in such a short book which could be overwhelming.

PuddleJumper For me, it didn't work as a story necessarily but would work really well as a reference book. Something that parents or children could use to learn about different family units, or be used as a teaching aid when discussing families in a school environment.

AkashaVampie We are a pride family here with me being Bisexual female married to a straight male and just recently found out that my 17 yr old is Trans. We are going through the steps to help them transition to Female. I teach my kids that they can do whatever they want as long as they dont hurt themselves or anyone else. And that Love is Love. Also that I will love them no matter what. (edited) 1y
willaful @AkashaVampire My 21 year old is a trans girl too, also came out to us at 17. I'm glad you're coping so well, it can be a lot at the beginning! I'd send you a DM but they don't seem to have them here. :-) 1y
