I‘m reading some of the HUGELY prolific authors in our children‘s section… and this wasn‘t bad! It‘s a little in the style of Tom‘s Midnight Garden or the Moondial, but pitched younger.

After Polly‘s dad is killed in an accident, she & her mum move to Cornwall, where her mum takes up a live-in job in a stately home. Much as she loves it, Polly is lonely until she meets a ghost-dog-statue… as you do!

Audio great, apart from the Cornish accent 😑
