I haven‘t read anything poemsy in AGES - and I used to read lots. So this was a lovely step back into poetry.
Stand-out (to the point where I found my National Poetry Library Libby login) was Kim Moore‘s Dead Tree:
“Someone is changing their mind
with the seasons, someone is losing
everything then finding it again.
Somebody is walking around
With a tree soul inside them.”
