This thriller brings together complicated teens from difficult families, the expensive and competitive equestrian world, and both too much money and not enough. Not a perfect read but compelling and unique. If you are a horse girl, or used to be, and you enjoy thrillers, I‘d give this one a try. Great on #audio #BookspinBingo @TheAromaofBooks

I was a little put off by this title but ended up loving this mystery. It‘s one of those stories where you know someone is dead at the beginning but the author teases out the who and the why as the story comes together. The pacing was very good and it‘s a great look into the horse world.

This is my #BookSpin for June

This one has serious Big Little Lies vibes, while still feeling completely original. I couldn‘t put it down! Mean girls in horse barns with lots of buried secrets. I loved that the POV switches quickly and we keep learning more of the story. The tension remained taut throughout and it stuck the landing. A definite slump buster if you need one.

Who knew I‘d find a book about girls and their horses so enthralling?! I should have known - I love a story about rich people problems and this one was so satisfying.

Super excited to start this one this morning! I'm sucked in already in only 3 chapters in! So far, Maple and her mom Heather are new in town and are Nouveau Riche. Heather believes that she can buy her way into any situation. They recently bought a 28 million dollar estate in a select area of California. Heather wants to live vicariously through Maple, especially with her love of all things horse related. Others have more sinister intentions.
