Thoroughly enjoyed this modern nod to "Romeo & Juliet" in namesake, although it is *definitely* not a retelling.
It's contemporary YA fiction that stands on its own with well-rounded characters, a storyline that references the pandemic, familiar romantic tropes, and a realistic protagonist who isn't a cautionary tale, but rather the author of her destiny.
Will definitely seek out other works by Andreu.

Librariana (1 of 1) Worthwhile to mention/add that there is a bit of dialogue in Spanish with Julieta's family members being Argentinian 🇦🇷😊 4mo
