Pickpick

I‘m so glad I chose to listen to the audio - the narration was brilliant and really added to the story. While at times the writing felt unnecessarily flowery and overwrought, I was completely consumed by this multi generational story of Rebecca Cohen Levy. A young woman born in Turkey who flees first to Spain than US as she & her family face religious persecution. Based on the author‘s own family history it‘s quite the saga. #JewishLit #ALC

Quite an epic story based on the author‘s family history. A tad overwritten but I‘m really loving the saga. #JewishLit #ALC #NetGalley

A moment of quiet with Ozzie and Gatsby as Oz uses Miss G as his pillow. Usually she makes him move but it‘s past her bedtime so I guess she can‘t be bothered.
