Pickpick

Best thing about a bank holiday is not feeling guilty staying up til 1 to finish an odd little book. And this was odd bit well written. The story of Beatrice the librarian in an Italian convent who finds herself in possession of a special book that challenges the church. A powerful and feminist tale about women, their role in the church it was a bit too fantastical for me
