This novel has strange vibes. A black woman (Tasha) gives a white woman (Madison) who seems distressed a ride. Madison hatches a plan where they could help each other out of abusive relationships by killing each other‘s husbands. Then Tasha‘s husband is killed. The Madison keeps waiting for her husband to die. The plot is thickened by others. The police are trying to find out what happened. Will they find the answers? 3.75/5

4.25⭐
Early on, this was giving me 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝐾𝑖𝑛𝑑 𝑜𝑓 𝑊𝑜𝑟𝑡ℎ 𝐾𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑣𝑖𝑏𝑒𝑠…but overall, it still managed to have distinct differences from that book. The ending was slightly unhinged, thoroughly unexpected, and rather satisfying. As for the narration, Gaelika Brown as Tasha and Sid Krouch as Madison were both quite good.

Mehso-so

This book was so crazy to me. The plot was so up and down and twisty turny that I honestly didn‘t predict a single thing that happened! But, in turn, it made the book so unrealistic that I really couldn‘t get behind it fully. I loved the character development of Tasha, so much so, that it made the book worth the read. Lots of triggering subjects so be weary when picking this book up. Overall I have to give this book…
