A group of friends hatch a plan to buy fashionable coats and take on selling bootleg anime dvds at school. This is a weird one but definitely worth a read. I loved the somewhat random notes we get throughout that add flavor to the characters or to the world around them. The focus on religion didn‘t resonate with me but I‘m sure it will with some readers. #Comics #LGBTQIA

This YA graphic novel had a lot of potential that it didn't live up to, sadly. There was too much explaining what was going on rather than showing it, the ending was rushed and weirdly pessimistic, and I felt like I never really got a handle on the characters. The events that should have had emotional weight and impact just didn't. I liked the art though, and the concept of these teen girls accidentally stumbling into selling sexy anime DVDs.

Putting this in a free little library today and hoping the right kid finds it ❤️

There‘s a small part of Brooke that wants to be stuck in some dead-end town…like a really small, dark part…that she‘s probably not even aware of…don‘t judge her; there‘s loads of weird conflicting; unhealthy flaws that you have, and we‘re not giving you the side-eye…
