This book is a fast-paced terroristic threat and very different then the familiar police procedural we are used to. It was a rollercoaster ride and totally gripping.

I am a bit split on this book. Was it a good read, most definitely. So what is the problem? Basically it turned into more of a non stop action thriller, when I was expecting a detective story. Hopefully the next book gets back to the more conventional form, and with more time also on the ongoing storylines for the characters. But given all this it was still a very good read that I read in an afternoon / evening. @eadieb @Tove_Reads

Andrew65 However I do hope they keep the character PC Jim Garrow in the rest of the series. A cracking addition. Very clear where the Sian storyline was headed. 2y

Tove_Reads Yes! First it disappointed me, but turned out to be a good, albeit different, read. Was more of a Ben Hope/Jack Reacher. Once is ok, since I‘m sure every police has a weird case, but now I want it to go back to normal. I love Jim! 2y

Tove_Reads Following week will be tough for me since I‘m first volunteering at UEFA super cup and then at an animal sanctuary. Also just bought a new home and will move in a month 😲😳 2y
