pickAfter reading The Vegan, I decided to try one of Lipstein‘s earlier works. Told in the first person, the book is at times tedious with a thoroughly self absorbed narrator. There are a lot of inside baseball tidbits about the publishing world, which I found interesting. But the narrator is annoying, almost bordering on sociopathic at times to get his point across.
