Ken leaned over to kiss Sue and only caught her cheek. She didn't make her clever turn at the last moment, catching his lips. She wanted to-always wanted to kiss him, but she chose to play cat-and-mouse, keeping an ace in the hole. But she wouldn't go on with dead-end kisses, not-going-anywhere, empty promises.
