Sorry I don't know how to give a picture of an ebook.
This very inspiring story is told by a man who had his sight taken from him in war and made a new life for himself with a lot of help and a guide dog.

People go read this book! I'm not much for military books, but I love a good medical / transformative memoir so I requested it from NetGalley. I read about 20% in, and found that I just couldn't put it down. Snyder is arguably stronger and tougher than most of us will ever have to be. But he's also by turns humble, compassionate, and funny. I wasn't expecting to like this memoir so much. The writing is amateurish sometimes, but not often. This is the MC older brother debating about whether is younger sister should see his injuries from an IED. Really sweet.
Starting this one today from my NetGalley shelf. So far the writing's a bit simplistic but the story is interesting.
