I have read several Brad Thor books in the past but none recently. In this one Scot Harvath has to fight a plot to topple the government by means of a bio-weapon. The thriller part is terrific but Thor feels the need to pontificate on patriotism, voting, the meaning of the Constitution and other American values. I don‘t a mind a little of that but here it just seems overdone. I understand authors have an agenda but a little subtlety never hurt.
