Minor Hauntings | 
I‘ve been having a lot of fun working my way through this anthology of ghost stories (all with ghostly children 😱).
@Bookwomble Care to take a guess at the MR James story included in this collection? Or the ubiquitous Elizabeth Gaskell? 😆
Bookwomble I'm pretty sure the Gaskell will be The Old Nurse's Story, one of the stories Dickens commissioned for a Christmas edition of Household Words, and one of my favourite ghost stories. I haven't read all of James's stories, so I'm on a bit of a sticky wicket here, though I do have his Complete Ghost Stories to hand, so... Just going from titles, two stories suggest themselves, but I'm going to guess A School Story🤞 3w
LeahBergen @Bookwomble The Gaskell is correct (and I just read it again … so good) but the M.R. James story is Lost Hearts. I don‘t think I‘ve read it before? 🤔 3w
