I‘m hoping this will be a short, fun romp. I love when the author reads their own books. They are always a joy to read.
I have to constantly remind myself that this takes place when Amy and Rory are stuck in the 1939s every time when River mentions them. Though, I'm kind of upset that her own comrade in the future (present?) has passed.

52/150 This is a real treat for Doctor Who fan. Who doesn't love River Song? She's one of the best characters to come from the show, after the Doctor of course. This twisty time travel story has her moving from 51st century prison, Stormcage, to 30s NYC to 30 BC Egypt and back again. Plus it's a book with a book, you get both River's story and her fictitious(?) counterpart Melanie Malone. 4 ââââ💫
4th book for #AwesomeApril @Andrew65
Obviously, at some point in her travels, River Song met the fashionably challenged 6th incarnation of The Doctor. Poor Colin Baker had to wear the ugliest outfit the Doctor has ever worn.
Alex Kingston is wonderful reading River Song and all her exciting highjinks. I‘m just getting started but excited to see where it goes.
