pickThe first few short stories in here had me scared I wasn‘t going to like it. The ones from books I already read were definitely my favorites, except for the Dragon Pearl one, I haven‘t read that book, and so I added to my TBR as I read. I thought the one that Rick Riorden wrote in the back was oddly dark, compared to his other stuff. Overall, 4⭐️

pick4 ⭐ Stories from the Rick Riordian Presents series. I have read at least one book in most of the series, but not all. Stories I knew were easy to jump back into the characters and action, like with Gum Baby, or Sal. For stories I had not read yet like Storm Runner and Dragon Pearl, it was easy enough to grasp what was going on, and exciting enough to make you want to get back to those unread series. Plus the new Irish story from Riordian himself.
So i spent most of my readathons this week listening to the tagged books. I am lving it. I am 1.2 way through. Each story is from one of the RR presents book series. I have read most of them, but not all, so getting to be with these characters have been so much fun. I will finish the rest sometime this week.

pickIt was so much fun going through each of these wildly different characters stories. All of them I‘ve met before - besides the newest one I‘ll be reading next by Grace Kim. Gum Baby‘s solo was my favorite. Really felt Gum Baby‘s, feeling she‘s always overlooked and not heard. Only complaint is that you have no idea when each story takes place in each authors Universe. Seem in the chronological book release dates as of now
