😭💔 I REALLY wanted to love this! Daniel Greene is one of my fav YouTubers and I wanted to be able to run around with his debut novella to literally everyone and tell them to read it…but I was left disappointed.
It reads like something an author would keep in their brainstorming file to refer back to while writing an actual story. The last name of two of the main characters even changes by the end of the book. Normally I pan my 2 star ⬇️

MegaWhoppingCosmicBookwyrm reads, but it has enough potential that I‘ll likely pick up the next novella as well. I‘m not pleased to have to do pre-research before reading the eventual novel, and maybe it‘s my loving bias towards the author, but I‘ll give it a chance. 3y

Twainy I was ok with the book but was hoping it was a novella of potential!! 😁 hoping for a quick next book in thins world. 3y

🎧 This is more than I thought it would be and less.

Wow the beginning was graphic. Lots of death! Then we meet a husband/wife officer/detective couple that are involved in the case to solve it.

There‘s something more going on here!! Nightmare worthy!

I‘m intrigued and here lies the “less” …. It‘s too short. I‘d read a full length novel in this world. I‘d like to see where we‘re going or not going with these players!

Twainy I had just finished The Way of Kings so (same narrators) this felt like a cross between WOK & Dresden Files so I hope they continue narrating the books because they did a great job! More please! Great mystery, good description, I like the writing style. 3y

I never, and I really do mean NEVER, pre-order books. But Daniel Greene‘s Breach of Peace, as well as Memoir of a Doomsday Prophet by @The_Penniless_Author have me finally breaking a lifelong streak. 😅 I‘m so excited, Breach of Peace originally said it wouldn‘t reach me until May, now it‘s estimated to be here Monday! 😍
I don‘t know how you guys that regularly pre-order stand the wait! 🥺🤣

I‘ve been trying to keep to a book buying budget this year, so unfortunately buying more while I wait isn‘t really an option. Though I‘m certainly not lacking in choices of reading material at home either. 😅 4y

Great debut novella from Daniel B. Greene. Really eager to get more time in this world, to learn a little bit of the lore and what came before the events of this book. Breach of Peace is a great blend of fantasy, mystery, and horror. There were a few weird things with perspective that were a little jarring. Not a big deal overall though. Definitely recommend this one.
