This was my first time reading a book/series by SG Blaise so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say i enjoyed it for the most part. The First 14 Chapters were wonderful, really pulled me into the storyline.

An easy SFF romp through seven galaxies whose best quality was its bevy of unique species. There's an unfortunate insta-love & insta-power too. Our MC had Golden Child syndrome. She's the last hope to fight the Evil & save all “living“ beings. She's suddenly (all) powerful with a direct connect to the Goddess of Light. Lilla-“hey we need to chat“ & the goddess of all that's good & holy comes running. Overall a unique premise with a cliffy ending.

S.G. Blaise has created an incredible story that keeps the reader interested from beginning to end. The fast-paced writing style and descriptive scenes make you feel like you are part of their world. Lilla is stubborn but follows her heart and fights for what she believes despite the pressures others are putting on her. The story was a wonderful blend of adventure, fantasy, science fiction, and a splash of romance. I would highly recommend it!

I‘ll start by saying that sci-if isn‘t my favorite genre. I‘ve read some sci-fi books that surprised me, and I really liked them. This isn‘t one of them. It wasn‘t horrible, it just wasn‘t for me. I felt compelled to read it since I won it in a giveaway. There is a glossary at the end to explain all of the bizarre characters and verbiage used. I referred to it a lot. Again, just not for me.
