I found the book comforting. I enjoyed Leder‘s style, how he wove personal experiences into sage advice and wisdom.

A friend recommended this to me a little over a year ago, after the passing of my mother. I put it on hold at the library, but once it became available, I didn't feel I was ready to engage with the content yet, so I postponed my hold until recently. I was expecting it to deal primarily with loss, with walking through the time after the death of a loved one. But instead, the early chapters have an extended focus on preparing for death. ⤵️
