In this outrageous, non-stop adventure, Ballantine and Morris introduce us to Agents Books and Braun of the ultra-secret Ministry of Peculiar Occurrencesthe most delightful duo of very British evil-bashers since The Avengers, Emma Peel and John Steed. With its malevolent secret societies, earth-shattering conspiracies, breathtaking derring-do, and absolutely wondrous weapons, Phoenix Rising out-Sherlocks Robert Downey, Jr.s Sherlock Holmes.

#recommendsday As we're on #steampunk today, here's another great steampunk series. The characters are great. Also, who wouldn't love the Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences? Think steampunk version of Warehouse 13. #seasonsreadings2016

B.Reader Totally have to check this one out! 8y

Pickpick

This first book in the Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences series delivers a fun blend of Steampunk and sexy spy adventure in the style of the 60's "Avengers" TV show. Pip & Tee set a fast pace and deliver lots of twists for the team of Eliza and Wellington. On the surface, Welly is everything Eliza is not. She bends the rules into pretzels while he files and categorizes them into order of importance. The whole series is a blast. #steampunk #spies

ReadingOver50 Great photos 8y
BillBlume @ReadingOver50, thanks. I pulled their photos from Facebook. I've actually become friends with them in the past few years. Pip and Tee are not only great writers, but they're wonderful people. 8y
