First, the premise of the story was great. I actually did like the storyline and the twists. However, there were several fatal flaws. It became very redundant and dragged on about 100 pages too much. My biggest peeve was timelines. It is told by 3 people, one in the past which by my math on facts in the book would be around 1990. However she talks about ordering clothes online, watching streaming shows and online celebrity gossip magazines

Finally, FINALLY finished a book. I‘m rating it 3.5 out of 5 starts because although the plot was good, I found myself skipping pages and just wanting to get to it. Brooke fled town after her high school sweetheart committed suicide after she cheated. However a jealous younger sister and family secrets come to light 11 years later and completely shatter and change Brookes world.
