This was a slow burn mystery at first, but I was really into it towards the end. I did not see that ending coming. I liked the women. The story was interesting.

33 Women is a story set in England in the past and present at a commune with a grieving family. It is a beautifully written story that joins everything together with a crazy twist. I felt so sorry for the family in their search for the truth of the death of their sister. The sisters of the commune where very entertaining.
It is my first read by Isabel Ashdown, and I am looking forward to reading more. I would definitely recommend it.
I couldn‘t put this down! Read my review here: https://debbybrauer.org/#33-women

About a quarter of the way through this on audio. So far not too bad. It switches between a family whose sister was found dead and a commune where she may have been staying when it happened. It also switches between the past and the present. I'm dying to find out what happened and how it's all connected.
This is an intriguing and absorbing tale. It‘s a slow burner, gradually drawing the reader in, revealing little clues along the way. It‘s told via two voices, that of Celine and also that of Bramble, a founder of the commune. The story travels backwards and forwards in time ending with a big reveal. The ending could be deemed slightly incredulous but all I can say is please read the book and make your own mind up! It‘s well worth the effort.
