Another short story from the Out of Line collection. It's about two women with the same name who happen to work for the same social media company, but one is in NJ and the other lives in the Philippines. They accidentally come in contact with one another and are surprised to see the similarities but also the major differences in their workplace and their lives.

What happens when women step out of line and take control of their own lives?
Pamela is a divorced mother of two who although outwardly optimistic, inwardly you can feel her start to lose hope over her future.
The first few pages I really warmed to Pamela but then I just lost connection to her and couldn't get it back.

What happens when women step out of line and take control of their own lives?

This is the story of Mark Carter and his teacher and the proceeding court case. Multiple perspectives including people on the jury, Mark, his teacher and Marks friend.

These 27 pages are intense and left me feeling exhausted.

Sandra is based in the US employed by the current biggest social media platform and spends her days watching video clips of self harm, rapes, murders etc etc to check if they violate the platforms posting guidelines.

Sandie is based in the Philippines, working for the same company and she content tag's those same videos for self harm, rape etc etc.

Despite the distance these two women bond and it definitely packs a punch.

This 39 page short story is part of the Out of Line Collection which is currently available on Kindle Unlimited.

This is the story of Shelby and her love of Hallmark movies. Shelby has recently been fired, is a new mother and believes she is responsible for the death of the family dog.

I could not connect with this book at all which is weird because I've loved other books written by this author but this didn't work for me.

Finally finished this collection!
Strayed: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Gay: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Kepnes: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ko: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Donoghue: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Gaitskill: ⭐️⭐️
Atkinson: ⭐️⭐️
The Sci-Fi/dystopian stories were my favorite - wouldn‘t have expected Gay in that genre!

Megabooks I think this was one of their better collections. 4y
Hestapleton @Megabooks have you read the Currency collection yet? 4y
Megabooks Yes, it‘s good, but I didn‘t like it quite as much as this one. 4y

I read these short stories one after the other. Despite being a collection, they were very different. There's 2 future SF dystopians, 3 realistic, and 2 that are weird and straddle the line.
Strayed: 4⭐
Gay: 4.5⭐
Kepnes: 2.5⭐
Ko: 4⭐
Donoghue: 4.5⭐
Gaitskill: 3⭐
Atkinson: 2⭐
