“No matter how long it‘s been or how far you‘ve drifted, no matter how unknowable you might be, there were at least two people in the world whose job it was to see you, to find you, to recognize you and reel you back in. No matter what.”

Haven‘t posted in awhile because...life lol. But, I am happy to discover Jennifer E. Smith‘s This Is What Happy Looks Like. I devoured the book in two days!
He leaned in, his lips meeting hers, which tasted faintly of peanut butter, and he closed his eyes, and he held her by the shoulders, and he kissed her. It was exactly as he thought it would be, like the first time and the millionth time all at once, like being wide awake, like losing his balance. Only this time, it wasn't just him; this time, they were losing balance together.
Bedside stack. I am liking Little Bookstore, but I am only able to read a chapter or two before my mind wanders. I started This is What Happy Looks Like last night - I like the format (prose with emails) and the characters.
Also, pi coffee mug. 💜
Happy looks like me finally getting another Jennifer E. Smith book to add to my collection 😍😌
