This one tells the real story of Breivik's attorney (the dude who shot 69 young people on an island and bommed 8 in Oslo in Norway). I just can't understand what goes on in the mind of a criminal that kind. I'm hoping the attorney (being a normal person) can describe the criminal he had to work with in a way that makes sence to me. 🤔
AnneCecilie Lippestad became quite famous in Norway for being ABB attorney and it had everything to do with how he handled the case. When it became known the ABB had chosen him as his lawyer, he was questioned about how he could defend someone like that and he replied that in a “rettsstat†that Norway was, everyone deserved a lawyer and it was in times like these our believes where really put to the test. 4y
Martta @AnneCecilie I was really surprised to find this book. Somehow in Finland even though the event shook all the Nordics really badly the court case wasn't folowed that closely. Ofcourse it was on the news when he finally was convicted but I don't remember ever hearing anything about his lawyer. I remember when it happened I was leaving for this huge scout camp in Sweden (40 000 scouts from all over the world) It felt like crazy time to go on a camp 4y
