An excellent collection from one of the best contemporary writers. The three fictional pieces all present unique and wonderfully authentic voices. In the nonfiction selection, Russo muses on his relationship with his hometown, which readers familiar with his work will recognize as fundamental to an understanding of his fiction. The collection is beautifully rendered and includes artwork by his daughter. A must-read for Russo fans.
