I would say this is a good introduction to the topic and a few examples of mindfulness practice at the end of each session.
This is a good, short audiobook for those new to meditation and the teachings of self-compassion. The author provides the research supporting this evidence based practice and name drops quite a few well known experts. She shares personal examples to illustrate the application of self-compassion. Each chapter ends with a meditation and opportunity to journal. For my needs, it was just okay.
