I won't say much out of respect of this story's tender message. There is a disconnect between the silliness of the illustrations and the poetic nature of the text... but I don't think that's a criticism. The contrast helped me slow down and really appreciate it. Perfect for families who've lost a pet. #rainbowbridge #dw2020reads #kidslit
