I was looking for a fun or funny poem, but everything I came up with ran quite dark! So, instead, here‘s Buttercup. She‘s a cow, practicing mindfulness and appreciation for the world around her. It‘s very relaxing and quite lovely!

Today I‘m grateful for:
1. a new week
2. the sound of rain
3. Plants that are stubborn enough to survive in my care.

A cow‘s gratitude journal in verse, anyone? This is absolutely gorgeous. Buttercup loves all the tiny things that go on around her through the day.

“I love the bee
that lands on me
She‘s fuzzy and buzzy
and sweet as can be”

I‘ll be buying this one! (Just as soon as I find a UK source for Canadian publisher Orca Book Publishers - they presumably do a great ebook package for libraries!)
