For the last week I have been engrossed by this book. I was incredibly in to every twist and turn, that is, up until the last chapter, when the author ended the book with my personal least favorite ending: one styled similar to The Giver in which it is heavily open for interpretation. There were sooo many loose ends in this book. It just felt like a major let down. Ending it even two chapters earlier would have made it so much better. 3⭐️

Happy 4th of July Weekend! I wanted to read Revolutionary War Historical Fiction. I picked Rebel Spy off my stack.

Slow start. It takes quite awhile to get to the actual spying part of the book. Once it does it was hard to put down. Although you do have to Suspend Belief because there are a lot of coincidences that make the story happen.

It was hard to imagine US being a British colony. This book is a fictionalized version of Agent 355, a real life spy during the American revolution. The book is more of a personal story of the spy and I wish it had more spying. It is a great read, heart breaking at times but all Americans would be proud of this!!!

This was such an adventurous read! Not only did I enjoy the story, I felt so empowered reading Frannie‘s adventures as a female spy during the American Revolution. Frannie grows up before your very eyes as she figures out who she is as not only a person, but a woman. Every young girl should pick up this book!
