Dark & tense plot with less action & more political maneuvering than the first book. Full-bodied characters who face multiple conflicts throughout the plot. Great relationship building. A powerful, independent female protagonist who faces some self-doubt & grows in confidence through the journey. A solid ending & comfortable read.
